Doing What We Can Homeless Outreach

YOU'RE INVITED!

JOIN US FOR A MONTHLY COMMUNITY PRAYER & STRATEGY MEETING!

Friends of DWWCHO holds a free and open-to-the-public monthly prayer and strategy meeting at 5:30 PM on the First Tuesday of each month at Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37411.

The homeless population in Chattanooga is growing rapidly! We see one or more "new faces" at the DWWCHO Operations Center each day. This is in addition to our regular visitors who rely on us for safety-net services such as meals & bottled water, clothing & shoes, showers & haircuts, OTC pharmacy & first-aid items, toiletry & hygiene items, camping gear (such as tents & sleeping bags), medical & dental care, and much, more more just to survive. DWWCHO is constantly striving to provide these, along with an ever-expanding portfolio of additional Christ-centered benevolence services, to those individuals seeking our help.

We need the ongoing support of the greater Chattanooga community at-large to join us in praying for our homeless neighbors and helping us strategize the development of new resources to meet the ever-growing needs of our nonprofit organization. Feel free to invite a friend, co-worker, or family member as well. This is an excellent opportunity for you to help do your part for the homeless here in our city. Your presence, prayers, and contribution of ideas is of critical importance in helping us successfully share the love of Christ with this disenfranchised community. Together, we CAN make a difference!

2026 Meetings: Jan 6 – Feb 3 – Mar 3 – Apr 7 – May 5 – Jun 2 – Jul 7 – Aug 4 – Sep 1 – Oct 6 – Nov 3 – Dec 1

JOIN US AT OUR MONTHLY OUTDOOR MEET-UP EVENTS!

We host an outdoor Meet-Up event at the DWWCHO Operations Center (4922 Brainerd Road) on the Third Saturday of each month from 11 AM to 3 PM. Our Meet-Ups are styled as a block-party for the homeless community offering an opportunity for fun, food, fellowship, and genuine heartfelt support from the Chattanooga public-at-large. These events always include a delicious meal, along with multiple resources made available by our community network partners, such as medical and dental care, showers and haircuts, clothing and shoes, job placement and alcohol/drug rehab services, and veterinary and chiropractic care.

There is strength in numbers! If you share our passion to help the homeless residing in our community, please stop by during any of our monthly Meet-Up events with a cash or other appropriate donation to help support us. DWWCHO is an IRS-approved nonprofit organization; all donations are tax deductible.
